Grants and Funding
In some case there may be local grants available for specific projects but these have largely been discontinued since the introduction of the Feed-in Tariffs.
For SMEs the Carbon Trust can provide an unsecured interest free loan against the purchase of Carbon reduction technologies such as renewable energy projects.
Funding can also be from the sale of Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) and from the sale of electricity through a Feed-In Tariff (FiT).
