Renewable Energy System Suppliers
Choosing the right suppliers for your project requires knowledge of the products and market as well as the legislation and controls in place.
For grant funded work it is often necessary to use an approved supplier, unfortunately each grant scheme has its own approvals process so you cannot assume that a supplier certified under one scheme can perform work under another. The main accreditation to look for is the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme). This is a requirement for LCBP (Low Carbon Buildings Programme) grants for either domestic or public sector users. The new Feed-in Tariffs will also only apply to installations performed by an MCS accredited installer.
We can help you identify and assess suitable suppliers using our knowledge of market rates and typical supply times for various systems and components.
If your are a supplier of renewable energy technologies and wish to become MCS accredited we can help you through the process.
